Dmitriy Vysotskiy is an electrical engineer and freelance web designer. He is the co-founder of Neoturbine – an IRC-based web community and network that serves as a testbed for his projects and a source of unique social interaction with his friends and other people on the Internet.

Dmitriy has recently graduated with a dual B.S. in electrical and computer engineering and is working in the field full time. He was involved as a co-organizer of TEDxIIT 2011 and is a member of a small club that visits coffee shops around Chicago on the weekends. His interests include art, science fiction, photography, and electronic music.

Dmitriy was born in the Soviet Union, raised in Russia and is currently a citizen of the United States. He resides in Chicago, Illinois and considers it his adoptive home town.
